Junior courses for groups of students
aged 12 to 17 can be arranged throughout the year.
On the first day of their English language course, students
are given a short informal English test and then placed into
groups, from beginners to advanced, with other students of
a similar level. Often on the first day, students are taken
on a sightseeing tour of Bournemouth and the local area. Students
are then taken by bus to their host families for their evening
meal.

|
Morning lessons start at 8.30 a.m. with
teachers who are experienced at making English fun and easy
to learn. The emphasis in the classroom is on the spoken word
and students quickly gain confidence and start to enjoy the
challenge of using English with their host families and in
normal everyday situations.
The classrooms at Cavendish School of English are well equipped
and bright, and the learning environment is friendly and fun.
A variety of up-to-date teaching methods and materials are
used to ensure that students reach their potential.

In the afternoon, excursions are arranged
to places of interest, including London, Stonehenge, Bath
and Winchester. There is always something to do in the evenings
with organised trips to local attractions, Quasar, discos
and karaoke evenings.
All the students on our Junior language courses stay with
very carefully chosen, regularly inspected host families,
so parents can be certain that their sons and daughters will
be carefully looked after. As well as being immersed in an
English-speaking environment and gaining confidence in using
their own English, Junior students will thoroughly enjoy their
memorable stay in England.
Junior Programmes are specially designed to suit the requirements
of each group. Please contact us for a quotation and for advice
on organising a trip to study English in England with Cavendish
School of English.
