Cavendish students are already in a Christmassy mood! We organised a festive party and checked their knowledge about the upcoming celebration. Students from European countries learnt Christmas vocabulary in English and students who don’t normally celebrate Christmas found out about different customs and traditions connected with this winter holiday.
During the break, they had a photo session with Christmas props and tried traditional sweet minced pies containing apple puree, raisins and orange peel.
There would be no Christmas Party without two classic songs – Last Christmas by Wham and All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey. Our students sang both of them at the end of the party. We hope you are slowly getting into the Christmas spirit as well as our students!
