We are delighted to announce a special recognition: our Cavendish School of English Malta has been awarded 2nd place (Runner-up) in the category “Best English Language Learning 2025” at the Malta Tourism Awards 2025 — a result our entire team is very proud of!
An Award for Sustainability and Excellence
The “Best English Language Learning” category was part of the overarching Responsible Tourism Development Award, presented by the Malta Tourism Authority to organisations that actively shape Maltese tourism through sustainable innovation and responsible practices.
The awards ceremony took place on 14 April 2026 at the Malta Marriott Resort & Spa, bringing together the leading players of Malta’s tourism sector.
What We Were Recognised For
The jury evaluated factors including heritage, sustainability, innovation and digitalisation. Our school was commended in particular for the following achievements:
- Heritage: Our dedicated efforts to preserve our historic school building in Valletta
- Digitalisation: Development of our own smartphone app (used by both young learners and adults) as well as the comprehensive digitalisation of internal processes — including feedback forms, welcome procedures, complaint management and incident reports
- Culture: Unique walking tours that allow our students to experience Maltese history and culture up close, complemented by special Conversation Club activities
- Student feedback: Consistently outstanding reviews on social media, especially on Google
