My experience at Cavendish School of English

In March 2019, I went to Malta for the first time in order to do an internship at Cavendish School of English for 5 weeks. On my first day at Cavendish I had a really nice welcome. Tess, the Head of School and Zoran, her Assistant Director, showed me around and were helpful and friendly right from the start. I also got to know the different teachers, who were always open for a little chatting and very friendly, too. Later I met Andrea, the coordinator for the host families.

In the next weeks, it was a pleasure to work for and with them. I sat at reception, welcomed new students, prepared paperwork and took phone calls. What I really liked was the contact with students from all over the world – sometimes we met after school to get some food or drinks.

I really enjoyed the way of living in Malta, always had a pleasant atmosphere at work and got to know so many new inspiring people. I would recommend this internship to anyone who has the chance to do it.
