Shane Rynhart is our Assistant Director of Studies (juniors). He trained to be a teacher in 2013 when he received his CELTA certificate, and joined Cavendish as a teacher in early 2014. Since Summer 2017, he has worked in the office as an Assistant Director of Studies, but he still loves being in the classroom! Before joining Cavendish, he studied for a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and he loves writing short stories in his free time. Shane is currently studying for his Trinity DipTESOL qualification.

I would take some paper, a pen and a guitar. I can’t play the guitar, but I would have plenty of time to learn!

I once helped raise over £3000 for charity by writing the story for an online game.
